Online Drama Club

After the Febrary half term break, Tool Box Drama will be re-introducing the successful online drama club, offering Primary School children the chance to get creative and social – online!

Join us for drama and movement games, skill building activities, script challenges and a few friendly quizzes and competitions. These sessions will be low key and relaxed – the perfect creative outlet for after school. We will be running the sessions on Zoom which is a free online platform for video calls. Each workshop will be fun and fast-paced but no previous experience is necessary, this is the perfect club for beginners.

Times: 5:00pm – 6:00pm

Cost: £20.00 for 5 weeks


We are also offering two masterclasses with York based practitioners and performers. If your child is looking to develop their performing arts skills or simply wish to try something a bit different, then a Masterclass might be just the thing! These are stand alone workshops and can be booked seperately from the drama club programme described above. These sessions are suitable for children with previous experience of performing arts, but they are also accessible for complete beginners. We are offering two sessions –

Music Practitioner: Alysha

Music for Wellbeing Masterclass

Join Alysha for this relaxed musical session, perfect for children’s wellbeing and mindfulness. Take part in breathing exerises, vocal warm ups, relaxing techiques as well as some musically creative tasks. No experience necessary.

Performing Arts Practitioner Jenny

Performance Poetry Masterclass

Join our performing arts practitioner Jenny in this creative workshop exploring poetry text. Using drama techniques and strategies you will learn the skills to perform a fun and exciting poem! No experience necessary.
