perform with us on the big stage
This winter, Toolbox Drama is hosting a public concert in partnership with Walmgate Nursery. This is an exciting and creative opportunity for adults with additional needs to perform on the big stage!
Performers will take part in two rehearsals in the run up to the big day, then performing together in front of family and friends. The adults will be sharing the space with children from Walmgate nursery, who are working with us to explore diversity and difference. These two groups will perform a series of seasonal songs using instruments, body percussion, singing and signing.
The event will be taking place at The National Centre For Early Music, which hosts many live events and concerts throughout the year. The space is fully accessible for walkers and wheelchair users, the venue also offers a range of accessible facilities such as a hearing loop, projector and screen, accessible parking and toilets. The venue will be providing free tea and coffee making facilities for all participants during the rehearsal period. Please click here for more information about the hosting venue.
