Performing on the big stage
This winter, Toolbox Drama is hosting a public concert in partnership with Walmgate Nursery. This is an exciting and creative opportunity for adults with additional needs and nursery children to perform on the big stage! The performance will take place on Wednesday the 15th of December from 1:30pm.
Performers will take part in two rehearsals in the run up to the big day, then performing together in front of family and friends. You can book your tickets for this event by clicking the button above. Tickets are free, with an optional donation to support our provision.
The adults will be sharing the space with children from Walmgate nursery, who are working with us to explore diversity and difference. These two groups will perform a series of seasonal songs using instruments, body percussion, singing and signing.
The event will be taking place at The National Centre For Early Music, which hosts many live events and concerts throughout the year. The space is fully accessible for walkers and wheelchair users, the venue also offers a range of accessible facilities such as a hearing loop, projector and screen, accessible parking and toilets.
