Volunteer Opportunities

Toolbox Drama are looking for volunteers to assist in their creative arts classes and events. We offer opportunities for aspiring musicians, workshop leaders, carers and occupational therapists. If you would like to arrange an informal meeting with one of our team members then please visit our contacts page. We would love to hear from you!

What to expect?

Our classes and events are lively, creative and often unpredictable! We use a variety of props and hand held instruments to engage participants, as well as music and sound. All of our sessions have a distinct social focus, so supporting participants in making connections is a big part of our delivery style.

Where do sessions take place?

We run sessions in and around York, from community centres and studios to theatres and music venues. We do not have our own building and so all our activities take place on community sites.

How do I get involved?

If you would like to know more about our volunteering opportunities, simply email us to register your interest. If you have a CV or a portfolio of your own creative work then please feel free to send this along with your enquiry. We hope to hear from you soon!
