Junction Goole’s home grown Christmas show brings an enchanting retelling of the much-loved classic fairytale Beauty & The Beast. Join us for a magical production filled with music & laughter!
The performance will take place in the venues large theatre space. Toolbox Drama has booked front row seats on the day, offering two wheelchair accessible spaces and easy access to the foyer and toilet facilities. There is an accessible toilet onsite, but no changing place. The performance also provides British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation. As part of the experience, Toolbox Drama is also offering free transport options from York.
Meet Bella, a spirited young adventurer with a love for books and the open sea. When a storm strikes and her father’s ship is wrecked, Bella’s world is turned upside down. Amidst the chaos, an enchanted castle emerges from the depths of a forest, holding secrets and wonders beyond imagination.

Tickets for this event are FREE, however any theatre snacks are to be purchased separately.

Transport Options
We are thrilled to be working with Streamline Taxi’s in York to offer FREE transport options for our Toolbox Drama members. Please see below for more information –
Pick Up / Drop Off Point: Oaken Grove Community Centre, Reid Park, Haxby, York YO32 3QW
Pick Up Time York: 12pm
Drop Off Time York: 4.45pm (approximately)
Attendees will have access to a private space in the centre from 11.30am, ahead of the pick up time. We suggest you bring a light lunch to eat during this time as we will not be able to eat in the taxi. Participants will also have access to toilet facilities ahead of the trip, as well as a changing place. Attendees are welcome to leave their vehicles in the car park at Oaken Grove.
Please note that the taxi will be leaving promptly at 12pm.
Important Information: How to book your place
We have a limited number of tickets available for this trip, as well as a limited number of wheelchair accessible places – due to the nature of theatre venues. If you would like to attend the trip, please contact us with the following information –
- The name/s of participants attending
- How many support workers will be attending
- If your participant is a wheelchair user (and if they require a wheelchair accessible place in the theatre)
- If you would like a space in the taxi (we will also need sight of travel risk assessments, where applicable)

Once we have this information, we will confirm if we are able to offer you a place on the trip. Whilst we would love to accommodate everyone on our festive outing, we are limited to a number of theatre tickets available and the number of wheelchair friendly options.
