TOOLBOX SOCIAL PROGRAMME - SENSORY MUSIC
This sensory music group is a creative and social experience for adults with additional needs. Activities include prop and instrument work, body percussion, light and sound exploration, gentle rhythm and movement.
We offer participants a safe space to build skills and grow lasting friendships. All activities are suitable for a multitude of needs and are delivered by our qualified Music Practitioner.

WHAT TO EXPECT?
Sessions are held in the large hall at Tang Hall Community Centre, in the centre of Tang Hall. This well ventilated space is fully accessible for wheelchairs and walkers. There is an accessible toilet on site as well as a beautiful garden which can be used as a break out space if needed. The building has a large, free car park to the front and is also on major bus routes from York city centre and surrounding villages.

Sensory Music

- Time: 10.30am – 11.45am
- Cost: £5.50 per session (fees are paid at the start of each half term)

Description: Join Alysha to explore different the senses through music. From sensory prop interaction to dance and percussion – there’s something for everyone to enjoy! The Sensory Music activity will last 45 minutes, followed by a 30 minute social hub. We will provide hot water, tea and coffee during the Social Hub, should you wish to enjoy a hot drink.
