TOOLBOX SOCIAL PROGRAMME - GROOVERS & SOCIAL HUB
Get active on a Thursday afternoon in this gentle movement and play session. Dance along to your favourite songs, using dance and sensory props to guide you. This session is suitable for all abilities.
We offer participants a safe space to build skills and grow lasting friendships. All activities are suitable for a multitude of needs and are delivered by our qualified Drama Practitioner.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
Sessions are held in a large community room at Oaken Grove Community Centre in Haxby. This well ventilated space is fully accessible for wheelchairs and walkers. You will find two accessible toilets on site, as well as indoor and outdoor breakout spaces which can be used to relax and decompress. In the building you will also find York Explore library as well as a community café. The building has a large, free car park to the front and is also on major bus routes from York city centre and surrounding villages.
