TOOLBOX SOCIAL PROGRAMME - DRUMMERS & SOCIAL HUB
Join our Friday morning percussion and rhythm group – perfect for budding rock stars! Take part in sensory instrument exploration, beat making, rhythm patterns and more.
We offer participants a safe space to build skills and grow lasting friendships. All activities are suitable for a multitude of needs and are delivered by our qualified Music Practitioner.

WHAT TO EXPECT?
Sessions are held in a large community room at Oaken Grove Community Centre in Haxby. This well ventilated space is fully accessible for wheelchairs and walkers. You will find a changing place and an accessible toilet on site, you will also find indoor and outdoor breakout spaces which can be used to relax and decompress. The building also hosts Explore library and a popular community café. The building has a large, free car park to the front and is also on major bus routes from York city centre and surrounding villages.

Toolbox Drama Lunch Hub
Between the morning and afternoon class on a Friday we host a casual lunch hub. We offer table top activities, board games and simple creative tasks in a relaxed environment. Bring your own pack up and enjoy this informal and social activity. More information about our lunch hub can be found here.

- Cost: £5.50 per session (fees are paid at the start of each half term)

Description: Join Alysha in this musical percussion session! Explore different instruments, percussion styles and rhythm. Jam along to your favourite tunes with friends! The Drummers activity will last 45 minutes, followed by a 30 minute social hub. We will provide hot water, tea and coffee during the social hub, should you wish to have a hot drink. Feel free to bring your own mug and spoon!
